because iirc it priortises multiple cores over individual core performance, dks3 may not utilise that.

Have you seen other 380 users complaining?Īlso I think the FX8350 could be causing the stutter, not sure how strong it is though to be honest. I believe that GPU (I think) does often struggle with frame stuttering though. I stopped playing about a week after it came out so it's very possible a stutter bug was introduced later. Hi, I played through Dark Souls III too, and also had stutter, it was when the game autosaved for me, so I'd keep an eye on that.
DARK SOUL 3 GAMEPLAY UPGRADE
So yeah, getting pretty annoyed at this, spend good money in order to upgrade my PC and PS4 gameplay is smoother than mine even wtih locked 30FPS.Īny suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (not sure if that works but decided to try anyway.) I used Razer Cortex to try and get more use out of all 8 cores of my CPU.
DARK SOUL 3 GAMEPLAY DRIVER
I uninstalled my GPU driver and reinstalled it, no changes. I've done all the FPS tricks, lower settings, turning vsync on, lowering resolution and just tweaking with the options a bunch, but it doesn't make any changes. So it seems like I'm able to run it decently but I'm having some stutters in the gameplay. Weirdly enough it does not seem to be low FPS, the FPS shows as 45+FPS at all times, and changing from low to high doesn't change much. Hey guys, I just bought a new GPU and CPU in order to get better FPS in Dark souls 3, but the gameplay is still really choppy.
